‧別名： 南洋櫻、琴葉櫻、紅花假巴豆
原產地： 西印度群島
‧分佈： 在台灣普遍被種植為園藝用樹
‧用途： 庭園觀賞樹，主要在於觀花，亦可盆栽。
日日櫻為常綠小喬木或灌木，株高1-2公尺
