天竺葵，別名石臘紅、入臘紅、日爛紅、洋葵，是開花植物的一個屬，包括約230種多年生肉質、亞灌木或灌木植物。天竺葵原產非洲南部，世界各地普遍栽培。

天竺葵幼株為肉質草本，老株半木質化；其葉對生，葉片為圓形，腎形或扇形；花色有白、紅、紫、粉紅、橙等多種，為傘形花序，四季都能開花，以春季最盛。天竺葵在西方是很好的裝飾窗檯的花卉，在歐洲大陸，如德奧等國，尤為常見。

天竺葵的葉子通常是互生的, 掌狀淺裂或羽狀簽裂, 一般具有長葉柄，有的種類葉上有深淺紋路，每朵花具五瓣，花聚集成傘狀，稱為「假傘狀花序」，花的形狀從星狀到漏斗狀有各種形狀，顏色有白色、粉紅色、紅色、橘紅色、紫色直到甚至近似黑色，各種都有。

人工培育的天竺葵可以分為六大組，其中帶狀花又可進一步區分。
